The Golden Boy Oscar De La Hoya makes his return to the ring on Saturday December 6th to fight Manny Pacquiao. The 12 round bout will be in the 147-pound weight classification and it will be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will be televised on Pay-Per-View. Oscar De La Hoya has a professional record of 39 wins and 5 losses and has won World Titles in 6 different weight divisions. 30 of The Golden Boys 39 wins have come by knockout. But the 35-year-old De La Hoya has lost 3 of his past 6 fights. Oscar last fought at 147 pounds back on March of 2001 when he defeated Arturo Gatti by TKO in the 5th round. He has spent the last 7 years fighting in heavier weight divisions of 150lbs or greater. De La Hoya will have a 6-inch reach advantage over his opponent Manny Pacquiao. Manny Pacquiao sports a professional record of 47 wins, 3 losses and 2 draws. Fighting at 147 lbs will be the heaviest for Pacquiao in the squared circle. Manny came in at 134 ½ lbs when he defeated David Diaz by knockout in June of this year.
