Max Richter - The Nature of Daylight

A revision of the first video I posted. This is a song called "On the Nature of Daylight" by Max Richter. How I interpret the song, it's about the bittersweetness of life but it's also hopeful and tender. This is one of my favorite pieces of music.

Castlevania SotN - Glitch Boss Fight - Richter Belmont

Well, here is the effect of what I did in the Controlled Richter Belmont Luck Mode video. When you kill him like that, you will be able to fight him again, but you must come from the broken staircase to fight him again. Also, this is your chance to get Save Richter Belmont record in your time attack. But you can always kill him if you want to, you just don't get the event in time attack. Once the battle is finished, use a library card to get out or else you'll be stuck there. This video was long because I included the getting Shaft and Dracula in the list part and also walking towards richter again and completing Dracula's Throne Room.

Hans Richter - Rhytmus 21

Rhythmus 21 Germany 1921 Hans Richter An early, serious abstract animation composed solely of squares and rectangles that change shape. Another attempt to apply musical principles to screen images.

Fine Line: Sub-Prime Decline - The Richter Scales

A Richter Scales ode to the 2007 credit crunch, sub-prime implosion, and hedge fund blowups on Wall Street. http://www.richterscales.com Download the MP3: http://richterscales.com/assets/audio/rsrecordings/FineFineLine.mp3 LYRICS There's a fine, fine line between investment grade and junk There's a fine, fine line between liquidity and a crunch And you never know 'til you settle up if the credit is benign There's a fine, fine line between a gain and a painful decline There's a fine, fine line between the theories and the facts And there's a fine, fine line between what's solid and what cracks And now my holdings badly misbehave and my losses aren't confined 'Cause there's a fine, fine line between a gain and a painful decline For years I piled on debt and smiled as my profits soared (I even bought a solid gold toilet, yeah) Now I see that I can't be levered this much any more (panicking, I'm panicking, I think I've soiled myself) Bernanke, please save me, cut rates, oh I implore... (please, even 50 bps) There's a fine, fine line between a bull and a bear And there's a fine, fine line between delight and despair I'm hoping I'll avoid the pain to come from trades yet to unwind But there's a fine, fine line between a gain and a crippling, crushing, mortally wounding decline (help me) http://www.richterscales.com Mixed by Tat Tong Inspired by Avenue Q

Max Richter "Song" Fatcat Records

Completed in October 2006, the video for Max Richter's track 'Song', which appears on his album, 'Songs From Before', was shot by film maker Yulia Mahr in a remote part of the Pyrenees. Using out-of-date Super-8mm black and white film stock, and some of the last Kodachrome 40 stock ever produced, it is a neat vsual accompaniment to the grain and atmosphere of Max's music.

Gerhard Richter: Paintings from Private Collections

http://www.vernissage.tv | German painter Gerhard Richter is one of the most important artists of our time. His works are represented in all the important museums and collections. So it's no surprise that apart from the lenders a lot of major collectors and art professionals such as Sam Keller, Erich Marx, Klaus Staeck, Alfred Paquement, Armin Zweite, Peter Weibel, and Kasper König attended the opening reception of the exhibition "Gerhard Richter. Paintings from Private Collections" at Museum Frieder Burda in Baden-Baden. At the Frieder Burda Museum in Baden-Baden, approximately sixty works from important private collections -- Böckmann (Berlin), Ströher (Darmstadt) and Frieder Burda, complemented by works in the artist's own possession -- offer a look at more than forty years of painting that reflects on both the history of post-war Germany and on the medium of painting. Impressions from the opening with brief excerpts from the speeches of Frieder Burda and Norbert Lammert, President of the German Bundestag, January 18, 2008. A catalogue is available: Gerhard Richter. Bilder aus privaten Sammlungen.

Max Richter - Embers

No words and without a sound, star shine within, without... a rainbow lights the night. All possibilities, as branches of a tree, opening, as does a flower.
