- Graham Nash told Rolling Stone magazine the story of this song: "In 1966 I was visiting Morocco on vacation to Marrakesh and getting on a train and having a first-class ticket and then realizing that the first-class compartment was completely f--king boring, you know, ladies with blue hair in there — it wasn't my scene at all.
- So I decide I'm going to go and see what the rest of the train is like. And the rest of the train was fascinating. Just like the song says, there were ducks and pigs and chickens all over the place and people lighting fires. It's literally the song as it is — what happened to me."
- future is now!
- Grazie Graham, per questa Canzone...
- I love Graham Nash! I wish I was stoned right now. Instead I just have a good Vodka buzz on. :)
- I'm so stoned right now.
- The first song is interesting Graham Nash has some good vocal chops.
- Graham Nash wrote both songs: an English citizen until 1978. A pacifying influence in CSN.
- Hello boychildnew1, A "colour note" in harmony is the note that sweetens the chord or vocal harmony part. It's usually the happy note, but sometimes it's the most unpredictable and hard-to-find note. Unless you are a trained musician, it can be very difficult to distinguish from other parts. David Crosby is a master of this manipulation.
- As a multi-platinum producer I've heard & produced a lot of singers, but these guys are truly in a class by themselves. All great lead vocalists, but Crosby's harmony is almost always what "we" call the color note (or notes). His parts consistantly exude both a beautiful sadness & an optimism. hi, please explain more about what you mean - im interested, really. "colour notes"?

- Check out his album "its all coming back to me now" the memories come flooding back.
- I've been emulating their style and harmonies for many years, but for me, the pinnacle of Crosby and Nash's achievements would have to be the 'Wind on the water' album. Sheer genius.

- quel talent!mon reve c'est que crosby,stiils,nash viennent à madagascar s'ils savaient qu'ils ont des fans là-bas(pas mal plus qu'ils croyaient)
- These guys just ooze talent..it comes so easily for them. BTW "Another Stoney Evening" is avail in a 5.1 surround mix (I bought it some time ago).
- Crosby had the most beautiful voice of the four: incredibly, 40 years and lethal substance abuse did nothing to it. They all can sing, but Crosby's vocal was best.
- ces cinq video à la bbc sont une pure merveille. si quelqu'un a pu voir un instant plus miraculeux que ceci dans sa vie de tous les jours, qu'il vienne m'en parler!
- I'm taking about "Simple Man"
- Isn't this on the first solo album he did around 1971? He was still hot & heavy with Joni Mitchell during this taping
