  6. Yes, anything can be done at the comfort of your home computer/laptop. Scripting is a tedious task for beginners though, sometimes it is so complex that you have to copy paste or modify the code.

  11. technology has failed us. if u promote this then u should not be an educator. your just promoting students to be as lazy as they can. to use this for educational purposes is the same as using wikipedia for a research paper.
  12. Great video. I use SL and can see the uses for this. Definitely a good way to teach classes.
  13. oh but it was. think about it. the women were responsible for the household, cooking, cleaning, the light farming or whatever, the children's up keep, hopping for supplies......sounds like a job right?

  18. She makes a good point: "If you happen to teach 3D modeling it's perfect place for experimentation." Similar to other videos suggesting the educational value of SL, this one is also based on a lot of assumptions.
