    Yes, It actually can. I made this tutorial for a more after effects backgrounded person. This way is much easier for someone who can use after effects. Well, at least I think so. :)

    you do not need afterefect, blender can render videos of you "render to texture", IE you apply the video to a plane or cude,.... well this is what I'v herd

    No, actually he composited 2D video onto another 2D video. There isn't any 3D compositing in there. He just created the object in a 3D program but once he exported it as a video, it's no longer a 3d object, but a 2d video. 3D compositing is a completly different thing.

    It's using a 2D object and a 3D object in a 3D program. So, I'd say it's 3D.
