- This is his best period IMHO. He chose the tightest musicians around for his band. Live and RnRA are his best albums. Brilliant, just brilliant. Thanks for posting. Faved.
- You just don't get it, bro, and you never will.
- I normally don't leave comments, but I had to thank you for posting this (and the other songs from this show). This is the best version of "Vicious" that I've ever heard (or seen). Lou is weird and comical, here. The way he looks here is so far removed from the look of the rest of the musicians - like he's an Alien from the Future. His dancing and his phrasing really to go together. Drugs or not, this is really frickin' cool.
- Damn cool, I used to dance on this stuff as a teen.
- Simple music for simple minded people. LOL. LONG LIVE IGNORANT SHEEP...
- Look at his lil' heroin shimmy! Darby Crash must have been in the audience taking notes. Also why is Lynryd Skynryd his backing band?
- He sure was sexy. ;) I like him better has a brunette though. Either way, he is an extremely talented musician.
- He's not trying to act like Mick Jagger - he's doing the junkie wriggle, just like Mick was, and for the same reason - they were both junkies.
- His dancing was because he was high on drugs. This isn't some sort of slanderous insult to him - it's well-known, and was well-known at the time, that Lou Reed was a drug addict. He wrote about it in his songs - most famously the song "Heroin." But yes, he was adorable. :3
- haha reminded me of freddie mercury
- haha lou doing the crack wriggle lol im obviously joking as no crack in the 70's
- agreed, bass player sucks. I've seen lou reed maybe 10 times over 30 years, this line-up sucked live too, especially bass and keyboards. Much better lineup was the one preceding, circa 73, with great white sax player and only lou on guitar. Also decent was bobby quine band of '80's.
- Oy, the bass player is killing me...Lou may as well be singing the Welcome Back Kotter theme for all the bass player cares...
- sexy ;)
- that makes it nice
- too bad he's confused all the lyrics
- If I was gay, I would f**k him ;-)
- andy warhol inspired this track @ Factory
- Cheech Marin plays a rather mean Hammond!
- Baaby you're so VICIOUS
- ANFETAMINA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- you do it every HOUR!
- he's sexy!
- ya hit me with a flow-uhhh
- Vicious-uh.
