- That's right, but sometimes it can be scary knowing you have no control over whats happening, but I alywas trust the pilots!
- you would have heard me sceaming if i was on that plane lol
- Awesome way of landing ! Great vid 5*
- shit !! amazing landing
- Sounds like a bunch of stuff that EASILY dominated YOUR bitch ass = great inventions.
- Overcompensated for the crosswind a bit...hell, any landing when the plane is in one piece is a good landing though.
- Pilot saw everyone watching and thought, watch this shit.
- That fxxking city you so lovingly referred to is Hong Kong, which is rated by Time Magazine as in the same league as New York and London (see the Nylonkong edition). The airport you trashed was Kai Tak - closed for 10 yrs now. Kai Tak was small, crowded and hair raising yes but it had super efficiency being the 3rd busiest international airport in the world. It did so much with so little and earned HK billions of revenue, enough for it to build a gigantic new airport on the sea - Chek Lap Kok.
- You forgot : racism, apartheid, the chritian fundamentalism, gay bashing, the crusades, TV evangelists, the spanish inquisition, genocides, the holocaust, calvinism, the dark age, serial killers, slavery, imperialism, colonisaition, cults, communism, KGB, the Vatican, Jack the ripper, the witch hunt, nuclear weapons, biochemical weaponry, Hitler, Stalin, Karl Marx, Britney Spears and Yorkshire puddings. Vou?
- That was a fantastic piece of flying! I'd happily fly in any plane with those men at the controls!!
- Yikes! I'd say building that new airport further out was a good idea! It's a wonder there was never a major incident of a plane crashing in urban HK during the Kai Tak years. (There wasn't, was there?)
- Would that be downtown Hong Kong in the background with the mountains behind it?
- Internal combustion engine, electricity, telephone, radio, computer, antibiotics, pasteurization, lasers, computers, nuclear power, submarines, hydroelectric dams, turbines, television, the industrial revolution, skyscrapers, plastic, space travel/exploration, telescope, microscope, duct tape, powered steel-hulled shipping, firearms, the lighbulb, sextant, clocks, vulcanized rubber, asphalt, cement, synthetic fertilizer, sonar, radar, an alphabet, NFL football and scantily-clad cheerleaders. U?
- Eastern brains invented paper, compass, printing, explosives and spaghetti. Try to beat that.
- Western brains invented the airplane.
