Tour of 1984. David's wife, Nancy and son "Jakers" is doing back up vocals on this one. A great seven week tour with Arlo Guthrie, Shenandoah, Doc Watson & John Sebastian. David had his own band and hired a few guys from Shenandoah. David is high energy and great fun to be with. Bruce Clapper: Sound engineer Jackie Guthrie: Video production www.risingsonrecords.com

  1. the Woody Allen of R and R
  2. I was at a many show years ago in Billings, MT, and he did accept a request - actually an audience demand - for Sharon. He was obviously not happy about it, particularly since he was traveling solo. With no band, as he stood in the audience during the horn dominated Main Street Moan break, silently watching the empty stage, it became apparent that it was not a good idea to request this song. Maybe that's why he wouldn't do it at all later.
