- You don't HAVE a soul or spirit...you ARE your soul. There is not something separate from you that drives the parts of who you are, you are simply the driver and the driven. There is no matter, just fluxuations of energy that FUNCTION as solid, as matter. The illusion is one that can be seen, if you can still the mind long enough. Then you will see god...the totality of us. Nothing separate FROM us, but that which is common within us. Primite man was wrong, close...but still saw god as separate.

- I haven't even begun disproving 'god' in this particular comment section, so the assertion you made only proves I don't have to even try to make you see there is no 'god'. - Because you assume in your logic that God must fit into it. If God exists what we call suffering could easily be something else entirely to Him. Maybe it's a learning process. Life is short, ergo suffering is short. What we see as random suffering could be a part of something so large and so beyond us that we can never hope to understand. To hold a creator to the standards of the created is wrong by definition. To one Picaso is art, to another it's rubbish, what is Picaso to his paintings?

If a god existed, suffering wouldn't, it's that simple.
