   Teddy certainly has a good set of pipes and say what you may about him but this dude can sing. Before his accident he used to sing in a style similar to the great Marvin Junior of The Dells but not a forceful as Marvin and just a little bit smoother than Marvin. I am not saying that he's a better singer than Marvin or that Marvin is better than him, am simply saying that their styles are kinda similar.

   No doubt TKO is a killer tune, but the better version in my opinion is from Womack and Womack. It's slightly slower and the folks sound a shade more downtrodden which adds to the dramati-emotional effect.

    You're making a good point here, Phurdrick. I love Teddy P., Marvin, Barry White, etc., all from the 70's and their great romantic/ sexy music. The only thing I can think of that comes close to it now might be "Making Love in the Club", which, of course, isn't in the same league (IMHO).
