- duskbringer - good of you to point out to the shallow people of the world that if you cut yourself it dosent mean your an emo - seriuolsy this comparison is so sick. I work for a charity working with suicidal people and selfharmers and it is shocking to see people have this association with the coined term 'emo' and people who need help to over come emotional behaviour.

- That's called depressed not emo, there's a big difference. Emo is just something a bunch of kids are doing right now. Twenty years from now if someone wrote the same lyrics and was just as depressed people will probably have a new trendy word for it, but emo will be long forgotten.
