    1968 version is definitely better... the ending (death part) of the 1996 version was so annoying. i realized a few days ago that India Eisley ("Amy's" sister "Ashley" in The Secret Life of the American Teenager) is the DAUGHTER of Olivia Hussey ("juliet")... iwas like WHOA. :] leonard whiting does look a bit like zac efron but i think he's a bit more attractive... but hes not anymore

    i love how back in the day, movies were superb even though the trailers are horrible - and now, the trailers are sweet but the actual movies suck.

    I enjoyed this version a lot more than the '96 one (I had seen that one first). That acting was more belivable and Michael York (even though his role was slightly minor) did an outstanding job.
