    Are you serious? Beyonce is a top notch performer. The way her image is handled and the way she carries herself make her a star but Etta's voice is far richer. Her voice is an instrument which she can manipulate and play with subtle notes. I am a big fan of Beyoncfe, but Beyonce is not that skilled.

    Etta James is timeless... even in her older age now- she can belt it out beautifully. Her voice is richer and stronger with more character than boyonces. I give beyonce alot of credit though, she did well, but no where near etta's natural power through song.
