Here are some of my favorite songs from 1963 that didn't hit the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, but are number one in my heart. This series supplements the "oldies but goodies time sweep of number one hits" series.

    I was really naive when singing these songs. I'm from the mid-west and couldn't understand why anyone would be comfortable "up on the roof." or "was on the wrong block" like in("silhouettes on the shade"). Until years later I moved to Philly and understood row houses. lol. Thanks keonepax for providing memories for so many.
