  1. This is so wonderful...imagine, you´re lying on a green meadow, smooth warm winds are lifting you up to the clouds...an let you down gently...*sigh*
  2. Every time that I hear that oboe solo... I don't know why, I just am stricken so. It nearly brings tears to my eyes. It is so emotional and, and, I don't know what else to say. This is beautiful.
  3. mussten wir in der 7. klasse (hauptschule) auf der weihnachtsfeier spielen! kann sich das einer vorstellen? nur mit xylophon, etc..
  4. This is my favourite classical music piece ever.
  5. I love Chloe Agnew. She is amazing
  6. America from the European perspective, I imagine he was looking at the sunsetting on the great plains of Iowa when he heard this beautiful harmony.
  7. BEAUTIFUL
  8. This was played during the CBS Special "Four Days in November. The Assasination of President John F. Kennedy." From 1988. But, you guys probably already knew that. It fits the copulation of clips of Mr. Kennedy as a husband and father. I do not care about his private life. I think that should be between him and his family only, even tho he was our President. I do remember how much it hurt our nation to lose him. It still hurts.....
  9. I feel it: Dvořak leaving Czech country.. but New World is closer
  10. DVORAK...der KÖNIG
  11. It is actually Largo.
  12. ich liebe diesen part vom Englischhorn das ist so perfect gespielt einfach geil der dvorak hatte echt was drauf und viel ahnung
  13. So evocative and heart rending. This became "my tune" when in exile in Bradford, homesick for my beloved Manchester.
  14. wonderful music
  15. Dominik Wollenweber is the Best in this English horn solo....(with Abbado conducting) That's perfect
  16. i play bass too. i playing the fourth movement (simpler version) on sunday for the Lawrence Youth Symphony. im pretty stoked about the piece. it has so much energy. one of my favories.
  17. You should also listen to the version of this done by Chloe Agnew. She is one of the Celtic Women and she does a beautiful job on this tune. The words are equally touching and the sentiment is not lost which is perhaps why this piece is so touching and why so many can take away something so special or remember something so dear when they hear it.
  18. This movement evokes such emotions. The tune Going Home is a favorite of mine as a Scottish American and it holds a special place in my heart. It is beautiful done as an orchestra piece but you really feel it when it's done with a lone piper off in the distance joined by a chorus. Wanted to play this for my Father when he left us but it was January and the pipes cannot play outside in January in Wisconsin. I oft think of my Father when I hear this and it makes me smile.
  19. I cried when I played this in Carnegie. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever experienced.
  20. This was very beautiful, but what was up with the red flashes?
  21. I also want this exquisite piece played at my funeral.
  22. Just heard this melody on a country music radio station and said to myself - wow, this is Dvorak - but couldn't remember which piece - well, I found it. Beautiful. The country song, Jericho something, is actually pretty too.
  23. LOL Subliminal Messaging (x There was like this red flash around 5:04 More importantly, this piece is beautifully smooth. I'm a string bassist myself and have played the 4th movement of this piece. An easier version though hahah in the Symphony Orchestra for Pasedena.
  24. Un pur régal, une composition parfaite, un rêve sublime, un hymne à la vie nouvelle.
  25. I had this played for my mother when she entered her new world. Miss you more than I can express
