- Mrs Lee, not only are your sons heroes but you are as well. I served 3 tours in iraq and afghanistan and your just as much as a hero for standing up for us as we are to defend you.
- You keep using the word "recognized." RECOGNIZED by WHO!? Recognized implies LEGITIMACY, and NO ONE "recognized" the Taliban for that.
- You don't "think" it was a "big, evil plan,...?" But you don't really know for certain, do you? Maybe the 'Truthers' are right? Their arguments ARE compelling. One thing IS for certain, the "official" 9-11 report is a complete LOAD OF CRAP! That is why those 25 former high ranking military officers have formed a group to question its validity.
- i said the taliban was in charge, they ruled, they were the head honcho's, they were recognized as the central political and power of the country in which all foreign nations dealt with if they had to due to anything pertaining to afghanistan or it's resources such as oil and well opium to be honest.

- of course they were not legal, there was a revolution any legalities prior to that would no longer be in effect, did the french monarch have to hand over power legally to the people, no the people took it. but that desn't mean the french people didn't now rule france, it's is the same deal with afghanistan
- look, i apologize for me calling you names or making fun of your screen name, that was rude and not like me at all. i will say this only once my dear, i do not believe in the 9-11 "truth" movement. i don't think it was a big evil plan by our government, i think they new it was going to happen, maybe let it happen for their own means, maybe not, but they didn't cause it, they didn't do it.

- It wasn't a matter of 'Bad Intel,' they CONCOCTED the intel from scratch. The FABRICATED the entire scenario. NO ONE, not even the Bush Administration, claims "bad intel" anymore because the cat's been out of the bag for some time now. Have you ever read or listened to Former Chief Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter? He lays the entire charade out on the table for you. Or, Former CIA Ray McGovern? He does the same thing! There are currently 25 former officers who challenge the official 9-11 report.

- The point I was making was that the Taliban was NEVER the legally elected government nor was the Afghan constitution altered to make them so.
- You can't JUST talk about Afghanistan without including Iraq because Hussein, Al Qaeda, and the Taliban were SUPPOSEDLY linked, according to the Bush White House. Plus, it is common knowledge that Afghanistan was merely the launching point for the Iraq Invasion.

- i never meant it that way if i did say it i meant what i clearly stated that the taliban allowed and protected the group within afghanistan, which i keep having to say over and over. and no i went to a very good school, cmu. no legal trasfer you are right because they took it, rather brutally. they were recognized as the ruling government by every other foreign nation until 9-11, then the only country that still recognized them was pakistan. they ran the show, hence they ran afghanistan

Article 51 CLEARLY states justification for invasion and defines 'Self Defense' as 'Armed Attacks,'Invasions,' 'Declarations of War,' etc., NONE of which was threatened. Not one piece of 9-11 fits this. There was not even an 'Imminent Threat' of an armed attack on the United States after Sept. 11. There was no link between Hussein and Al Qaeda or the Taliban. It can't get any clearer than that, and if you can't understand it...?
- "Specifically" 'High Crimes & Misdemeanors' for knowingly providing verifiably false "evidence" of complicity in 9-11 between Hussein and Al Qaeda which resulted in an illegal invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq, resulting in the deaths of close to 1 million of their people, over 2 million homeless, and complete destruction of their national infrastructure.
- Read your posts; you'll see where you connected 9-11 and the Taliban along with the invasion of Afghanistan supposedly giving the U.S. a 'GO' for invasion. And what school did you go to for your "education"? JOE'S COLLEGE? Or do you just parrot what you hear from FOX or The NYT? The Taliban OCCUPIED Afghanistan and set up their own PUPPET government but the original Afghani constitution was never altered. They IMPOSED their will and laws but no legal transfer of power ever existed.
